Head of Global Marketing
Sandra brings over 20 years of accomplished experience in major pharmaceutical companies, having held roles in country, regional, and global markets. Her marketing expertise spans early development, launches and portfolio strategy across multiple therapeutic areas.
In her previous role, Sandra led the creation of the portfolio strategy and vision for the Ophthalmology Franchise at Boehringer, establishing it as a new business unit. Prior to this, she led the launches and commercial strategy for a Neuroscience megabrand and an in-licensed Ophthalmology asset at Novartis. Her early career was with AstraZeneca where she held various commercial roles, both at regional and global level. She was posted in Europe, Brazil and the US.
In her role with Nordic Pharma, Sandra will ramp up the organisation for the next launch waves in Ophthalmology whilst maximizing our legacy portfolio.
Sandra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management from Lisbon University (IPAM).
