JOB TITLE: IS Systems Manager – Scientific

LOCATION: Hoofddorp, The Netherlands

 

General summary of role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a IS Systems Manager to join an international company with a presence in 20 countries and modern office in Hoofddorp where we work with 45 people. You will be joining a tight-knit IT team of 2.

The System Manager will provide business value through day-to-day Service Management and small project delivery of the GxP IT systems in his/her area of responsibility – based on basic ITIL processes. Acting as a Business Partner, he/she will act as the face of IT within the Business.

This opportunity would suit a candidate with pro-active, pragmatic, result oriented team player, who has excellent communication skills in English. Has experience with business partnering, stakeholder management. Experience with GxP, GAMP within an international environment. Experience with cloud systems operations (Veeva in particular). ITIL certification is a plus. Veeva Vault Administrator Certificate is a plus.

This position is based in Hoofddorp. Nordic Pharma will consider candidates currently based the EU willing to move to the Netherlands, however candidates without an EU work permit will not be considered (if this applies to your region).

 


Essential responsibilities and tasks:

  • Set up and Lead in partnership with Business Owners & Vendors the delivery of main ITIL processes : Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management for applications in scope;
  • Manage relationships with major Vendors and Service Suppliers;
  • Manage SLAs and report achievement/ improvement initiatives to stakeholders;
  • Support Key Users in various countries, drive adoption, harmonization and best practices through governance and knowledge sharing (including trainings)
  • Oversee the IT Demand Process in partnership with Business Owners, contribute to the building of Business Cases up to project delivery.
  • Contribute to Identifying and selecting new business solutions and support partners.
  • Provide support & insights in building and managing the Global IT budget.

 

 

Qualifications, experience and skills required:

  • We are looking for someone with a bachelor in Business Economics, IT or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with GxP, GAMP, preferably within an international environment.
  • Practical experience in Service & Release Management, preferably in GxP environment.
  • Experience with cloud systems operations (Veeva in particular).
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Veeva Vault Administrator Certificate is a plus.
